Online ordering of physical textbooks

A majority of orders for individuals can be automatically processed via our website and sent to our warehouse for dispatch.

However, in some circumstances, in order to accurately calculate freight, your order may be diverted to our sales team for manual processing. Once you have submitted your request, a member of our customer service team will be in touch with a quotation which will include the freight component.

We will always quote for the safest delivery method for your country. This may not always be the cheapest. Please click here for an explanation of our delivery methods, and information on what we can and cannot do. If the customer chooses to use a carrier that is not recommended by Haese Mathematics, they do so at their own risk; Haese Mathematics will not be responsible in that case for any loss or damage to the books in transit (no refunds or replacements).

You acknowledge that you are the account holder of that card, or have the express permission of the account holder to use that credit facility.

You understand that all credit card transactions are made in your nominated currency. We offer AUD, USD, Euro, and GBP as currency options. If your card is issued in a currency other than the one that has been nominated, your card provider may levy additional fees and charges for paying in a foreign currency. It is the card holder’s responsibility to find out if these fees apply before finalising the transaction. Haese Mathematics is not responsible for any additional charges that are levied by card providers and cannot adjust invoices to match what appears on your statement.

Bank deposit/transfer

Please contact Haese Mathematics directly at sales@haesemathematics.com.au if you are an individual who would like to pay for your purchase via bank transfer, as additional processing fees may apply. All international bank charges are the responsibility of the customer. We will be in touch to confirm payment, shipping, and/or access to digital components.  For physical orders, we will send through any tracking details that are available and instructions on how to use them online. If you have failed to inform us of an error, we cannot rectify the address once the order has been uploaded to our warehouse for packing.

Customs Duties and Taxes

Some countries will levy an import tax or duty on imports over a certain value. Duties and taxes are not included in the shipping price. The recipient is responsible for the payment of duties and taxes locally. Schools

Australian and US schools are welcome to send through a school purchase order. If your account with us is operating within its terms of trade, we will dispatch your order immediately. If you require a quote first, please indicate that on the PO and we will hold your order and await further instructions.

Schools outside of Australia and US

We require pre-payment of all quotes prior to dispatch. If you are paying through a direct bank transfer, please email remittance advice at the time of payment to your contact person in the sales team, so that your order can be prepared for dispatch pending arrival of the payment.

Booksellers within Australia

If you hold a credit account with us and it is within its terms of trade, you are welcome to send a purchase order and we will arrange immediate dispatch. Orders will not be sent if outstanding invoices need to be settled. Freight will be added to your order. If you require your PO and invoice to match, please make this clear when ordering as this cannot later be rectified.

If you do not have a credit arrangement in place, your order will need to be prepaid before dispatch. If you wish to request a credit account, please speak with customer service and they will inform you of the procedure. Please understand that not every application can be accepted as we perform thorough credit checks prior to granting permission.

International Booksellers

All international booksellers are required to send payment before an order can be processed. We are not able to offer credit terms. Shipping will always be added to your order unless you indicate that you wish to collect your order from our warehouse.

We will not alter invoices for customs purposes.

Our standard bookseller discount is offered to all companies that wish to trade with us and cannot be altered.

If you require files so that you can convert our material into large print or braille, please contact philippa@haesemathematics.com.au and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

Purchasing of second hand and used books

When purchasing a used book from a friend, school or 3rd party reseller, you must ensure that any associated subscription belonging to that book is transferred to you at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide free subscriptions if the subscription is not transferred. We are not able to transfer the subscription from one user to another without the consent of the original owner. If you require a subscription, you will need to purchase a full-price online-only subscription.
